Michelle L. Sall OD

Lake-Villa-Illinois-Jackson-eye-Michelle.pngMichelle L. Sall, O.D. is a residency-trained optometrist specializing in diagnosis and management of ocular disease. She received her Bachelors of Science degree in Applied Biology from Ferris State University in 1995. Prior to enrolling in optometry school Dr. Sall was a member of the Anatomy and Cell Biology Department at Wayne State School of Medicine where she performed ocular research. She graduated from Nova Southeastern University with her Doctorate of Optometry in 2001 and was appointed a Primary Care of Optometry residency position at the W.G. Bill Hefner Veterans Affairs Medical Center from the Southern College of Optometry. The residency training placed strong emphasis on ocular disease management, low vision therapy, and pre/post-operative ocular surgery management. Dr. Sall has also worked in the pharmaceutical industry where she gained experience in safety monitoring and reporting of clinical trials to regulatory agencies including the FDA.
